The Covid pandemic was a huge blow to businesses. The most affected were small to medium businesses. The Covid situation in addition to the unstable economy in Zimbabwe lead the demise of many such businesses. However, if money is the issue there is help.
Following the negative impact of the corona virus on Zimbabwean small to medium enterprises, the World Bank has a provision to help these businesses. Zimbabwe Finance Minister, Mthuli Ncube, took to his Facebook page to urge Zimbabwean business owners to utilise this arrangement. He expressed that the World Bank was disappointed by the low uptake of these Covid funds.
