A certain Yvonne Chipupuriro left social media in a buzz with her claims targetted at Lancet Clinical Laboratories. She stated that Lancet was using fake positive covid test results to exploit patients. Here’s how her story unfolded:
Upon her departure from Zambia on the 21st of January, Yvonne took a mandatory covid-19 test which had a negative result. She decided to confirm the results when she arrived in Zimbabwe at Lancet Clinical Laboratories. She was disappointed when her results turned out negative. However, she was at even greater dismay when a Lancet official allegedly approached her and asked for an extra US$30 in order to issue out a negative certificate.
