Pictures of Mary Mubaiwa are circulating on social media in which she has a really swollen right arm that is said to be due for amputation.
Mary Mubaiwa is the ex-wife of VP Constantino Chiwenga who has been in and out of court with and the most recent case was allegations that Mary Mubaiwa had forged the VP’s signature.
According to a document shared on Twitter, the doctor attending Mary Mubaiwa recommends amputating the arm at the shoulder as previous attempts to save it have failed and resulted in potentially fatal severe sepsis.
Sepsis is the body’s extreme response to an infection. It is a life-threatening medical emergency. Sepsis happens when an infection you already have triggered a chain reaction throughout your body.
Mubaiwa has been having medical complications for a long time now. There are claims that she has been denied permission to seek medical care outside of Zimbabwe.
