Last night, while we were sound asleep, there was no peace for Mpilo Hospital medical teams.
Mpilo Hospital’s CEO Professor shared the devastating news in a tweet on his page. He expressed how distraught they were over the burning down of Mpilo Hospital’s resident flats. Currently, the cause of the fire is still unknown, however, it is suspected that it was caused by a heater that was left on.

Some Zimbabweans have shared that they will have they’re fingers crossed in hopes that the government acts quickly in resuscitating the property. However, in the same line they didn’t shy away from sharing their doubts that any quick action will take place. This is because they considered the current state of the health care system in the currently.
