The UK deportation conundrum is still ongoing and no, it hasn’t gotten any better. Unfortunately, Zim twitter is not making it any easier for them.

Some UK deportees have shared their experience while back in the country. It is safe to say most are struggling and it’s really distressing. However, Zimbabweans in the country were sure to question why such people had not thought about investing back home while they had the good UK life that they used to show on social media.

Most Zimbabweans have proved to be unforgiving towards the returnees. This is clear in the comments shared with regards to the second group of deportees that arrived yesterday.

Perhaps this is a reminder to those that are outside the country to try and invest back home if they can. However, that is not to overlook what others have commented saying that Zimbabweans probably ought to be more welcoming and sympathetic to the returnees.
