People who fear that things might go south in their relationships usually expect to see another man/woman with their partner. As much as this is sad, it is common even among people of high stature. Even former pastor, Shingi Munyeza, was caught up in some scandals of his own involving another woman.

However, not many expect to be cheated on with an animal. Such was a case in South Africa where a girl caught her mom’s boyfriend being intimate with the family dog.

The man in question is 66 years old. He was arrested after the matter was taken up to the police. The complainant is said to have arrived home only to find the old man lying on top of the female dog.

Soon after, the dog was taken to an animal shelter for safekeeping. Cape of Good Hope SPCA spokesperson Belinda Abraham has since explained that the dog has been traumatised by the event.

The Cape town man was charged for bestiality and is expected to appear before Simon’s Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
