]]> Olivine Industries has reportedly shut down its margarine plant owing to foreign currency shortages.

The Agro-processing plant has like many other Zimbabwean companies been grappling with foreign currency shortages, this has led to many businesses closing down or scaling down operations.

According to officials at the company the margarine plant has been closed since January 2019.

The company last received forex from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe(RBZ) on October 2018.

The Zimabwea governvemt has a 35% stake in Olivine Industries.
