]]>The groups farming division contributed to 4% of its total revenue in the stated period compared to the 1% previously attributed to it. Commenting on this surge, the company had this to say,
“The growth is attributable to a resurgence in the construction activities and related good 2020/2021 rain season. The improved performance is also attributable to growing demands fro Agrifoods stock-feeds after its exit from judicial management in the prior year”
With the second quarter beginning, the company has started on a high note and continues to be hopeful for this new quarter. They said,
“The trading conditions going into the second quarter are expected to remain stable and largely unchanged, as impacted by the covid-19 restrictions.
However, the covid-19 rollout, which commenced mid-February gives reasoning for optimism for tuning the tide on the efforts to battle the pandemic.”
