]]> The Econet Wireless Chief Executive, Douglas Mboweni, has released a book aimed at helping people, especially millennials like us discover our purpose. No doubt, people have wanted to know what a person of his stature knows. Now is your chance.

Why is Mboweni a good person to learn from?

Well, he has quite the noteworthy CV. Mboweni succeeded Strive Masiyiwa as Chief Executive of Econet in 2002. He has been in that position ever since.

Mboweni further developed his business acumen by studying toward a PHD in Business Leadership. He graduated in 2019.

These are just but a few of his accomplishments that makes the knowledge he is delivering in the book valuable. The book, “The Dusty Road to Success: Principals of an ordinary life” is now available on Amazon.

In the book, he shares the story of his journey from childhood to college to employment then finally to the role of leading telecommunications company, Econet.

The 140 page book is published by Porcupine Press in South Africa and is being distributed by Empowering Generations.
