]]>Evans Rusike, who also plays for Zimbabwe’s National Soccer Team, became his soccer career in SA in 2015. He also made two appearances in the Warriors Team. He was not part of the chosen 30 to play in the World Cup Qualifiers.
Rusike’s deal ends on the 30th of June 2021 and the club CEO, Matthews has confirmed that they will not be going forward with him. Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Matthews said that Rusike hadn’t done enough to convince the coach that he was a player they needed going forward. In addition he said the following:
“We can’t be accommodating players who seem happy to sit on the bench”
However, despite them going their separate ways, Stan Mathews expressed his appreciation for the player’s contribution to the team.
We wish Rusike the best in his future club.
