The post Forbes lists Strive Masiyiwa as a ‘British’ billionaire, have we lost one of ours? appeared first on Provoker Magazine.
]]>Perhaps you’re now wondering what country Strive Masiyiwa was listed under. Forbes 2021 list blatantly stated that Strive Masiyiwa, the British, was on the 2035th rank. Yes, the British.
Checkout the listing below:

What could have prompted Forbes to feature him in that way? One of the reasons could be that the Zimbabwean billionaire is now based in London. While in London, Strive and his wife were even recognised by ex-Prime Minister, Theresa May, to receive the Points of Light award for their exceptional voluntary service providing education to underprivileged children in Zimbabwe. So long story short, the Masiyiwas are noteworthy citizens of the United Kingdom.
Since Forbes listed Strive Masiyiwa under United Kingdom, we can technically say that Zimbabwe had no one representing it in the Billionaires list in 2021. Even though the billions that landed Masiyiwa in the list were initially facilitated by his ventures here in Zimbabwe.
