Zodwa was recently on a very popular podcast in South Africa hosted by Tebogo Thobejane. During the hour long podcast Zodwa spoke about her marriage with Ginimbi and also took the liberty to clarify a few misconceptions she felt people had about her ex-husband.

When asked if Ginimbi was a blesser Zodwa immediately said “He was never a blesser, he would never be a blesser. He just used the girls because they were so loose and so cheap”. She went on to say “But what I knew, Genius never bought no girl a car. Genius never bought no girl an LV bag. Genius never bought no… he would spend his money in the club”.

Zodwa went on to encourage women to be more hardworking and aspire to have their own money than to rely on “blessers” for money. She also tackled other issues and shared her opinion on practices like stripping for money or having multiple sex partners. Zodwa also revealed that she has had less than five sex partners and she is a testament that hard work pays off more than aligning yourself with rich men.

When asked about her expensive cars and taste she responded that there is no rule that forbids friends from buying gifts for friends. She was also asked if Genius really had a “money snake”. To this question she responded “Can you believe that a snake can give money?”

She also answered questions about Genius’ source of income, her dating life, and also shared some of the events that took place on the day that Genius passed on.

The late Ginimbi is known to have had an impressive fleet of expensive high performance cars. Cars in his garage included brands like Rolls-Royce, Range Rover, Bentley, and Lamborghini.

Five days ago a local car dealer in Eastlea Harare posted a yellow Lamborghini for sale on Facebook. And since one does not see a Lamborghini on the road often in Zimbabwe, you can’t help but wonder “Is that Ginimbi’s car?”

Well…nothing is impossible. There have been a lot of rumors going around about Ginimbi’s car since before his untimely passing. The first rumors were about the cars being seized because of alleged improper tax procedures when they were imported into the country.

The next rumor was that the Lamborghini was given to a close friend of his. This was after his mansion was to be converted into a hotel which would operate under a family trust. Is it possible that the maintenance of the luxury vehicle was too much to bare and it had to be sold off?

Ginimbi was very proud of his car collection as shown by the many pictures he posted on social media. That is why when a super car is  seen on the streets people immediately think it is one from his fleet. So when one sees a vehicle that was named as part of his fleet for sale, you cant help but wonder in light of past events if that could that be his car.

The car has been listed for a whopping 320 000 USD. And with the increasing number of people that aspire to live the “soft life”, this car could be as good as sold. It would be interesting to see who takes up the offer and if we will be seeing it on our streets soon.
