]]>Another cause for major concern was that the controversial debate was stirred by an uncalled for comment by an unexpected person. This was Alice Tagwira who supposedly fights for the rights of vulnerable persons, women in particular. She is the founder of SheGlows which supports women rights. Tagwira recently caused a buzz when she said that single mothers should be celebrated on fathers day.
In an interview with the Sunday Style she referred to the attack on women by ”abusive men.” Unfortunately, the Herman post just made people in the comment section view Tgwira as an abuser herself.

]]>This follows after his performance at the Children’s Independence Party held at the State House. This performance stunned President Mnangagwa and the first lady Auxilia Mnangagwa that they were compelled to award the musician with a scholarship to take him through all his remaining school years.

Herman rose to fame following his hit debut song “Zvandofarira” in 2020. He went on to release other popular songs such as Fantastico/ Zimbabwean Girl (2020) and Chokoloco (2021). We can only imagine how thrilled Mugeni Mukunda and Ebondo Kitunda, the parents of this young artist are.
School fees and especially university tuitions have become so difficult for parents to handle. One major cause of this is the ridiculous hike in fees with university fees reportedly more than tripling this year alone.
We also wonder how the parents who stifle their children’s dreams because they prefer they focus on school alone feel when things like this occur. Its not everyday that this happens, but it certainly isn’t the first time that a child who has been supported by parents in pursuing their dreams has excelled in their passions and even yielded great benefits academically. Some even go on to acquire academic scholarships based on their sportsmanship while on the other hand other children who have the real talents in sports don’t achieve this as parents try and have them focus solely on school and stop sports completely.
