It seems to be no surprise to many that Ay Poyoo has fallen for Kikky Badass. The Zimbabwean Hip Hop star is not one to shy away from flaunting her talent and figure. She has done so in a number of her videos including one that got some people thinking she had gone too far. She has also been flaunting her figure on her Only Fans account since the first quarter of 2021. Not only does she have the figure, but she is also a talented artist who managed to scoop the most awards any female artist did at the Changamire Hip Hop Awards 2021.

Would she and Ay Poyoo make a good match though? Well, let’s analyse Ay Poyoo’s CV for a sec.

Ay Poyoo rose to fame internationally with his hit song Goat. He was even feature on BBC Africa for this hit song. Beyonce is said to have copied a part of his artistry in her own video for King Already where she had a scene with goats similar to Ay Poyoo’s scene. Talk about influence! So when it comes to talent alone, this might just be our next #couplegoals just like Khanyi Mbau and our ndege boy.

However, when it comes to looks Kikky Badass’s will have to decide and we are not certain whether its a factor for the Zimbabwean star. I guess we’ll just have to wait for Kikky’s response.

This scandal started when Caspper Nyovest made the bold decision to switch his music career from Hip Hop to Amapiano. His first release of the Amapiano song, “Angisho Guys” is said to be an imitation of a popular Amapiano artist named Mpura.

Lady Du, who features in  Angisho Guys  has worked with Mpura in the hit song “Umsebenzi Wam” was dissatisfied with the accusation of copying. She took to her twitter to share the following sentiment:

I’ll never ever choose loyalty over honesty, I CANT STAND LIES!! If I lose a friend over honesty that’s fine. Lies need 10 other stories and I don’t have that time Mina . Aniyekeni ukubullshita amafans wenu, stappppppp it #AngishoGuys #catalia

Some critics were quick to state that this was a publicity stunt instigated by owners of the song in order to get it the hype it now currently has. However, Lady Du was quick to defend themselves once again with the tweet stating:

I have never needed hype for things, I hate drama, I answered a question I was asked. Mpura and I worked together I have nothing against him personally. If yena uoff andizi Mina. People like the song because of what we did to it not because of the drama #AngishoGuys
