]]>A Zimbabwean entertainer who is not as popular as other entertainers like Comic Pastor and Madam Boss, to name just a few, has made that imagination a reality. He goes by the name Innocent Answer.
Innocent took to his Youtube channel to show what it would be like if the legends collaborated to reinvent the hit song “Hawairevesa Tina.” He added a modern flair to the collab by infusing the artists Enzo Ishall and Holy Ten who are currently battling for the Hip Hop throne.
Watch the video below:
Leonard Karikoga Zhakata, who was quiet for a while following a ban on his music, recently made fans happy by announcing his return to the music industry.

]]>The musician had his music banned in 2003 from all Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) channels. State media continued to jeopardise the artist’s career painting him as a spent force. It is said that his music was banned as it was allegedly linked to the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) party.
Zhakata rose to stardom following the release of hit song “Mugove” in theĀ “Maruva Enyika” album. In 1994, 120 000 copies of his solo album “Maruva eNyika” are said to have been sold. He then went on to release other songs in the album “Hodho” which is unpopular since it could not be aired following the 2003 ban on his music on ZBC platforms.
Listen to Mugove below:
Zhakata spoke on his new album saying that the album is titled “Mupendero weNguva.” The album is said to be almost ready. The uncalled for Covid situation has derailed the plans for releasing the album but, don’t fret, the album is definitely on its way.
The artist was part of the performances that took place at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on the 41st Uhuru celebrations.
