]]> Zimbabwe’s cricket match against Pakistan ended on a very happy note today. Zimbabwe was leading Pakistan by 19 runs. This was the first time in the Zimbabwean cricket team history that they’ve experienced a T20I win against Pakistan.

Luke Jongwe was crowned man of the match for his outstanding performance. He achieved 3.5 overs, 18 runs and 4 wickets.This performance will now go down in history as the best men’s T20I figures ever recorded by a Zimbabwean bowler.

 

The best bowling figures by Zimbabwe in T20Is have been as follows:

 

3-0-18-4 : Luke Jongwe v Pakistan(Harare, TODAY)

4-0-28-4 : W Masakadza v Scotland(Nagpur, 2016)

4-0-30-4 : Chris Mpofu v Afghanistan(Chattogram, 2019)

4-0-31-4 : E Chigumbura v England(Cape Town, 2007)

4-0-34-4 : N Madziva v Bangladesh (Khulna, 2016)

 

This was the first time in 5 long years that Luke Jongwe played for the Zimbabwe Cricket team.

Many cricket fans are have now crossed their fingers in the hopes that Jongwe is here to stay.
