]]> The Miss World finale which was held last week was filled with drama as Caroline Julie, 2019 Miss World titleholder snatched the crown from Miss Sri Lanka, Pushpika De Silva.

This took place just after Miss Sri Lanka had received the crown as the new Miss World. As the new titleholder sashayed in her crown and a bouquet of flowers waving to her fans, Julie aggressively approached her with both hands ready to grad the crown.

Caroline Julie was compelled to act in that way due to allegations that Miss Sri Lanka was divorced. She reasoned that the magnificent crown did not deserve to be handed to someone with such a stained reputation.

However, Miss Sri Lanka was re-crowned Miss World following this incident. Caroline Julie was arrested but is now reportedly out on bail since April 8 2021.
