]]>Gain Health Care is a specialist Health and Social Care Company. The company provides temporary Nursing and Care staff, Homecare Services and Provision of Supported Living.
Olinda Chapel posted on her Facebook account:
“It is with great sadness that I have made the decision to halt International Recruitment from Zimbabwe. I love Zimbabwe very much and I truly believe in promoting local. Gain Healthcare will continue recruitment Internationally from other countries like India, Philippines etc.
From day one I have been accused of not having a sponsor license. Then it was paddled as a scam. To date we have recruited 37 employees Internationally to work for Gain Healthcare directly and we have recruited 63 nurse aide candidates for nursing homes. 22 Social workers for local authorities and 17 nurses. Through GHC and we have had a total of 139 candidates come internationally on the last 12 months.
The abuse I have received has really affected my Mental Health and most times I no longer enjoy the job I love very much.
What’s the way foward ?
- GHC will no longer be recruiting from Zimbabwe through our Sponsor license
- We will continue recruiting as an agency for our clients
- We will continue providing training that’s internationally recognised
- Those that are at immigration level with us, we will continue with the application.
Thank you very much to those that have supported us and we’re patient enough to go through the process and I am glad we managed to change so many lives.
Again thank you for believing in me and my company.
I am done
Ndabhoo”
Many Zimbabweans consoled her and highlighted that there will always be people that look down on services and that she should not stop helping genuine people because of the people that shun her. Olinda had previously posted a screenshot from an interaction between another agency and a Zimbabwean where the agency said they no longer help Zimbabweans.

There are some people that still claim that Olinda took money from many people and asked why she did that if she knew that not all applications would be processed successfully. Olinda responded to one of them saying she did not take any processing fee and to another, she said that it is not illegal for a company to accept an administration fee.
Olinda said she will continue to train Zimbabweans (at a fee) but if one wants to then go to the UK they will need to find their own means or use another agency.

Olinda Chapel-Nkomo shared a picture of a Covid positive test a few days ago on her Facebook page with the caption “Ma one”.
Today on Facebook, Olinda posted of Facebook;
“Amana covid ma one. Ndaizviita ndururani the last 3 years ndichiti ndiri strong. Chinhu chino chino rwadza. Plus kuita kunge wakutopenga. Apo I have 3 vaccines. Haaaaaa ndabhooo. I want to go back to work”

Olinda talks about how the illness is causing her pain and making her feel like she is hallucinating or going mad. And all this despite getting three shots of the Covid 19 vaccine.
Recently many countries like South Africa, Kenya, Denmark and many others have announced that they have removed most (if not all) Covid restrictions as they feel that people are coping well due to good vaccine uptake. With a few people like Olinda Chapel-Nkomo getting ill, could removing measures spark another wave?
