There is no foolproof way and you probably know your parents better than anyone. In some cases you’ll have to realise that we are dealing with parents who are also advocating for the right to beat their children with government interference. For instance, some would argue that in the case of the daughter who was beaten by her father over virginity, had it been the olden days she wouldn’t have been able to file for a restraining order. They’d rather you end up like the 70 year old virgin. Good old days, they say.

Resultantly, the biological father is expected to be grateful for that and comply with the stepfather’s demands. After all, his kid is in safe loving hands, right?

When it comes to parenting, this is obviously not the only issue that may be faced. Parents also have to agree on the way in which discipline is to be administered. Some have expressed that they miss the days that children were bashed as a way of disciplining them as it was most effective.
