]]>The politician expressed the ordeal faced by pregnant women in particular. They are expected to pay certain fees to be helped with child delivery. However, given the state of the economy, many cannot afford these fess. As a result Khupe expressed her stance, saying that childbirth fees should be removed.
However, this cause fell on mostly deaf ears. Zimbabweans who commented on this were more concerned with how she got into Parliament in the first place. Because her position in Parliament is said to have been acquired through questionable means, Zimbabwean twitter users expressed that they did not want to hear anything from her.

]]>On March 17, 2021 Hon Regai Tsunga was among some of the members of Parliament who were recalled. Other members included Hon Tendai Laxton Biti, Hon. Willas Madzimure,Hon. Settlement Chikwinya, Hon. Kucaca Phulu, and Hon. Sichelesile Mahlangu.
This move surprised his supporters who believed in the great work he was doing in Mutasa South Constituency. Just a few days before being recalled, Hon Regai Tsunga went on a “rapid assessment of the situation in…schools” within his Constituency. He had the following to say regarding that event:
“Went out today on a rapid assessment of the situation in our schools in Mutasa South Constituency on the occasion of the resumption of teaching after the easing of lockdown regulations. Teacher incapacitation was the modal phenomenon inhibiting productive teaching & learning.“

Following the announcement that he had been recalled from Parliament, Hon Regai Tsunga took to twitter to say the following:
“I’ve been recalled from Parly as MP. I thank all for having elected me on July 30, 2018 for a 5-year term. Thanks for all the cooperation I have enjoyed from the people of our constituency. Will try to continue being of service outside Parliament. Thanks once again, great people.”

]]>This decision was made possible on Thursday by a ruling by the High Court judge, Justice Sylvia Chirawu-Mugomba. The ruling stated that the PDP faction led by Lucia Matibenga had the power to recall the party’s MPs and councilors who have joined the post-election MDC Alliance.
Some parliamentarians were displeased with this decision. Among the displeased is Harare Mayor, Jacob Mafume, a part of the PDP faction. Mafume told th emedia that they had since appealed against the High Court ruling at the Supreme Court.
Tendai Biti was not the only member to be recalled. He was accompanied out of parliament by Hon William Madzimure(Kambuzuma), Hon Settlement Chikwinya(Mbizo), Hon Regai Tsunga (Mutasa South Constituency), and Hon Phulu Kucaca (Nkulumane).
