Apostle Chiwenga is said to have started with the battle when he called Passion Java a clown. Passion Java, who is known to not mince his words decided to retaliate with words that might not be fitting of a prophet and somebody who the president chooses to associate with.

Heated brawls are not a new thing for Prophet Passion Java. He was previously caught up in a “childish” social media battle with Makandiwa and Evidence Chari. It seems like this sort of behaviour is nothing new in the Java family. His own blood brother, Simba Java, has once reached out to prominent Zimbabwean pages to help him shame Passion Java.

As the 2023 elections draw closer, the President has been actively involving Prophets in his strategy. In March, Prophet Uebert Angel for instance, was appointed Presidential Envoy and Ambassador at Large. He has already been making some big strides within that role.

In May, Prophet Passion Java shared a video of himself with the President. These interactions with Prophets by Mnangagwa has been judged disapprovingly by Prophets outside the country.
