]]> By now when we think of soccer stars that are flying the Zimbabwean flag high abroad we think of the same names we’re so used to hearing. The likes of Tino Kadewere, Khama Biliat, Knowledge Musona among others who have been in the game for a while. Some of them even form the 30 man squad that will be playing in the World Cup qualifiers. But now we will hear of some new blood that’s flying the flag high in the soccer field.

A Zimbabwean teen has just signed a professional contract with a UK League one football club, Sunderland. The teenager, Ethan Kachosa, was previously playing for EPL side Leeds United. He was part of the Leeds academy and in 2019 was named the Best Academy player.

He played his first match with Sunderland against Everton and scored a  goal which assisted in the teams 4 -3 win. His management has since confirmed the deal on his Instagram page.
