]]>Zulu culture is known for the Umemulo celebration. This celebration is held to celebrate a girl’s transition into womanhood and readiness for marriage. It is said to be a reward from the girl’s parents for good behaviour and remaining a virgin.
Given this background, you can probably imagine the surprise when a 70 year old virgin was being celebrated.
