The post Zimbabwean coach Loga is a fraud : ZIFA appeared first on Provoker Magazine.
]]>Amidst dissatisfaction from fans over the performance of the Warriors’ coach Zdravko Logarusic, the Zimbabwe Football Association(ZIFA) has stepped in with similar sentiments. A leaked conversation relating to the coach’s qualifications has lead ZIFA to start investigating the legitimacy of coach they hired.
A South African source that is cognisant of the investigations being carried out informed ZIFA of a huge scandal taking place amongst most European coaches. It is reported that some Uefa coaching badges are acquired unethically and such ‘coaches’ usually have just African clubs or national teams as reference in their CVs and no coaching experience in their native countries.
These ongoing investigations were sparked by an alleged email sent to the Kenyan Football Federation by Loga stating that he will be working on his Uefa Pro License soon. This revelation came as a surprise as Loga had previously stated that he had acquired his Pro License in 2013.
The scandal does not end there. After forwarding his license to the relevant officials, its signatories raised eyebrows yet again.Among the three signatures was said to have been one belonging to a recently convicted fraudster and tax evader Damir Vrbanovic of Croatia.
Investigations are still underway and ZIFA technical director, Wilson Mutekede has reportedly already forwarded a request to a Uefa instructor to check the legitimacy of Loga’s coaching license.
