President E.D Mnangagwa has made it clear that Zimbabwe will not be bullied by the G7 by means of sanctions. Sanctions have been a pressing issue for two decades for the nation. When American president, Joe Biden came into power he crushed any hopes of sanctions being lifted during his time.
Nonetheless, Mnangagwa is very hopeful. He broke down the different pillars on which the economy is to develop even further amidst sanctions.

Although it seems that the nation is not very worried about sanctions and will not be bullied by America and its counterparts, the actions seem to suggest otherwise. The government has even begun compensating the white farmers they removed on their land. One of the reasons for this is said to be an attempt at restoring relations with the western world.
