Apparently it seems like the list for criminal offences is becoming longer. One of them is pertaining to the things one can do while black.
Nikkita Brown, a black woman living in Chicago (Chi town), was apparently caught on the wrong side of the law. She was walking her dog along the lakefront early Saturday morning in the city’s Lincoln Park neighbourhood. A Chicago Police officer immediately approached and manhandled her.
Brown stated that she was told to leave the beach as it was closed. However, there were many other people (white) walking in the beach unbothered at that very time. This lead Nikkita to feel as though she was being kicked out for being black.
She went home and immediately called 911 over the issue. The situation caught the attention of the mayor who later tweeted:
I am deeply concerned by what is depicted on the lakefront beach in that video.
I am aware of the incident and it is currently under investigation.

Just recently in Zimbabwe, people were commenting on a arrest situation that they thought was a bit on the extreme side. A former minister was arrested for allegedly calling the First Lady a “whore”. Of course, people were wondering when insulting someone became a criminal offence punishable by law.
