WATCH: ZTN star anchor faces charges for indecent assault

A journalist working for Zimpapers Television Network (ZTN) was accused of inviting a young man over to his house where he is said to have indecently assaulting him.

The star anchor, Robert Mukondiwa, is said to have taken advantage of the 18 year old boy who was seeking help with school fees payment.

He allegedly brought the Upper Six student to his home where he narcotised him with alcohol thereafter sodomizing him. Mukondiwa arrived  at the Harare Magistrates Court today facing the aforementioned assault charges. He was represented by his lawyer Lucky Dube.

The journalist has been confined in custody to April 12.

ZTN is the diversified media group Zimbabwe Newspapers 1980 Ltd’s online streaming service. They were awarded their license by the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) in November of 2020.
