Surface Wilmar the manufacturers of Pure Drop cooking oil have distanced themselves from cooking oil price hikes in a statement released. Their recommended retail price for cooking oil remains at $3.70.
The Surface Wilmar factory have enough stocks to meet the national demand, Pure Drop has put the blame on individuals and companies bent on profiteering.

Retailers have over the past week hiked price of cooking oil to as high a $15 yet manufacturers are still producing at lower that’s $4. The justifications for retailers to charge exorbitant amounts is not justified.
