The Gaffa, Winky D has long been known to inspire many upcoming artists. He is also the one artist that can go for so long without any new releases but still manages to stay relevant. His fans are known to be among the most loyal.
Interestingly, even well off artists seem to be getting inspiration from the Gaffa. Recently, Jah Prayzah made headlines for supposedly copying Winky D’s look. This was seen in the Nhoorondo Series which accompanies the Gwara Album.
