As the covid-19 cases escalate, the President of Zimbabwe has announced new measures to curb the spread of Covid-19. Upto now, the major lockdown restrictions<\/a> had included the banning of gatherings except for funerals, which only 50 people could attend.<\/p>\n

Further restrictive measures were stated by the President yesterday and apply with immediate effect. They are as follows:<\/p>\n

• Intercity movement suspended<\/li>\n
• Business to open from 08.00hrs to 15.30hrs<\/li>\n
• Curfew remains 18.30hrs to 06.00hrs<\/li>\n
• Commercial transport to remain operational<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
