The number of crimes that were being carried out by a gang that poses as soldiers were on the rise in the country. Before this situation got further out of hand, the Zimbabwean National Army decided to step in and put the mischief to a halt. From now on they are promising nothing but trouble for anyone who is caught posing as a soldier to carry out criminal activities.
The gang is said to have been producing fake search warranties to unsuspecting members of the public. Once they gained access to the homes they would confiscate some of the valuable property of these individuals.
A number of reports on these crimes have come from areas in the Mashonaland West Province. Chegutu, Kadoma, Chinoyi, Christon Bank and Mazowe in particular have been the areas where most of these crimes have been reported.
So habitants of these areas have been asked to be on high alert and as for the gang, their days are numbered.
