The government of Zimbabwe recently gave churches the go-ahead to resume services for full vaccinated congregants, now this obviously did not go down well with the clergy, with some bodies calling for the removal of these conditions.
According to news reports a Christ Embassy pastor is the first casualty to get arrested for flouting this new directive, after the police found 50 unvaccinated members congregating at his Glen View 3 church.
The pastor was fined $2000 and some of the members are still assisting police with investgations, whatever that means.
The issue of vaccines have divided the citizens with some advocating for it and some for whatever reason for it, it’s also worth noting that some developed countries have taken a radical approach of ditching the vaccines altogether.
The government is really trying to force its way on the church which it feels might be the biggest hindrance in the adoption of vaccines.
