Delta Beverages a new lager called “Sable Lager” and it has been labelled a smooth and easy drinking beer.
Sable Lager joins a range of other lagers made the brewing giant like Castle Lite, Carling Black and Blue Label, Castle, Lion, Bohlingers, Castle Draught and the famous Zambezi lager. The launch also marks the beginning of a new relationship between Delta and the Sables Rugby team.
Speaking at the launch of Sable Lager on Friday at Newlands Country Club in Harare, Delta general manager Tich Rinomhota said the introduction of the new lager is a significant achievement as the company has wanted to extend their brand portfolio for a long time.
”Over the past years, our focus has been on the development and growth of our existing brands, additional regional and global brands to our portfolio, and the expansion of our existing pack offerings to traders and consumers.
We, therefore, are here to celebrate this new brand launch as a special milestone for Delta, together with you our traders, supply chain partners, media partners, consumers, and friends,”
Delta marketing director, Irimayi Muzorewa said this will help the business increase its revenue as well as profitability.
”The Sable Lager is a culmination of many months of hard work by the entire Delta Lagers team, our research and brand agency partners and we are confident that our consumers will enjoy and wish it had come sooner, because of the unique composition that it offers,” Muzorewa said.
“The coming in of the Sable Lager expands not only our beverage portfolio but also our audience of consumers by being accessible to both men and women, as well as increasing the number of occasions where our beer brands can be enjoyed.
“Most importantly, to us, and our traders, this will give our businesses the opportunity to benefit from incremental volume, revenue and profits.”
Delta Beverages recently rebranded the Shumba Maheu brand as well in a bid in incorporate new brand name Ades.
