It is considered such a privilege to be on the Forbes Magazine Cover. The magazine features people that have made a significant impact in the business world.
This year, a Zimbabwean graced the cover of the Forbes Africa Magazine for his business prowess. Forbes has various categories ranging from the Richest People List, Forbes 30 under 30 among others. The Zimbabwean in question, Shakemore Wellington Timburwa, was a part of this year’s 30 under 30 list.
This list contains those Forbes has concluded to be the brightest young entrepreneurs. So in essence, 30 entrepreneurs were handpicked out of the whole African Continent as the brightest of all the African entrepreneurs under the age of 30.
The featured Zimbabwean, Shakemore Wellington Timburwa, is the CEO of Parvaim Holdings. The company specialises in the mining industry. He was previously incorporated into the Global Chamber of Business Leaders (GCBL) Young Business Leaders Programme. GCBL is a coalition of C suite executives, entrepreneurs, investors and the like. With this track record, no wonder Timburwa is now a part of this years Forbes 30 under 30 list.

Also on the list are the following:
- Mihlali Ndamase – South Africa
- Antonio Depina – Cape Verde
- Reinhard Mahalie – Namibia
- Cleo Johnson – South Africa
Timburwa is however, not the first Zimbabwean to be featured in a Forbes publication. Strive Masiyiwa was also a part of a Forbes list this year. However, as a nation we’ve also managed to make it into a Forbes list albeit for the wrong reason.
