It is not uncommon for havoc to wreak when someone’s nudes are shared. Usually, people’s exes are at the top of the list of those responsible for leaking nudes. However, these almost rarely lead to a court case.
Now, what if the tables were turned? If someone leaked their own nudes? The assumption is that they have an agenda and don’t often get caught up in rivalries with someone else who might have leaked the nudes.
However, the story of Naomi Dube, a 23 year old Bulawayo girl ended differently. Indecent images of Dube were said to be sent to a Local Hotel’s Whatsapp fan group. The local police were alerted of the matter and later discovered that Dube herself was allegedly responsible for sending the nudes.
The 23 year old is said to have admitted to the crime and upon further investigations the police found that the images were indeed taken by Dube’s iTel were they still were.
Naomi Dube appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Ms Marrygold Ndlovu on Friday facing charges of Cyber-crime.
