The Zimbabwean socialite, TV presenter and social media influencer Samantha Musa aka Misred shared some exciting news today. The news hinted to something brewing between her team and Idris Elba.
If you’re wondering why this might be a big deal then you’re probably living under a rock. Idris Elba is a famous English actor who is also popularly known for his role as Nelson Mandela in A Long Walk to Freedom.
In addition to his numerous awards in the acting industry, the celebrity was named People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2014. If you thought it stopped there, think again. In 2018 he was identified as Essence‘s annual Sexiest Man of the Year.
No wonder Misred is so excited. Who wouldn’t be?

Speaking of Idris Elba having been the Sexiest Man Alive in 2018, we wonder why Alick Macheso failed to win or even be the runner-up as Zimbabwe’s hottest male celebrity. We’re saying this because Idris Elba is said to be Macheso’s look-alike. Others have even called Elba, Macheso who graduated from private school.
