2020 has no doubt been a challenging year for school goers, particularly examination candidates. Some students decided to postpone writing examinations to this year, however, the brave ones wrote their examinations and their A-Level results are finally out.
The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) board chair, Eddie Mwenje, reported a 2.1% decline in the pass rate compared to the previous year.Ā 2019 had a reported 83% pass rate for A-Level exams. Professor Mwenje expressed that the board was pleased with the performance given the Covid-19 situation that inhibited someĀ from attending lessons.
Candidates who sat for these examinations nationwide amounted to 49 153 students.
Getting your results online is a very simple process. Follow these steps:
- Visit ZIMSECās website here.
- Click “register new userā if you’re not already registered.
- Enter your details on the page you’ve be taken to
- After successfully registering return to the home page and enter your username and password.
- Here you should be able to see your ZIMSEC A-Level results.
