As the covid-19 cases escalate, the President of Zimbabwe has announced new measures to curb the spread of Covid-19. Upto now, the major lockdown restrictions had included the banning of gatherings except for funerals, which only 50 people could attend.
Further restrictive measures were stated by the President yesterday and apply with immediate effect. They are as follows:
- Intercity movement suspended
- Business to open from 08.00hrs to 15.30hrs
- Curfew remains 18.30hrs to 06.00hrs
- Commercial transport to remain operational
