In Jotsholo of the Matebeleland North Province a man came across the shock of his life when he caught his wife busy with their neighbour at her parents home. The man, Vusumuzi Ncube(45) is said to have gotten suspicious after his wife Attalia Kumalo (23) went to visit her parents. She is said to have stayed there for two days which led to the suspicions.

Ncube decided to follow her to her parents and got there early morning just in time for the action. He is said to have heard his wife moaning. Upon pushing the door open he discovered that she was in the room with their neighbour.

Unfortunately, it ended badly for Ncube who was later taken to court and charged with violent assault as he immediately pounced on the neighbour. After dealing who the neighbour, who eventually escaped naked, he turned to his wife and bashed and kicked her all over.

Khumalo was rushed to the hospital and later reported the incident to the police leading to her husband’s arrested. He has been charged with 12 months in prison on charges of physical abuse. The sentence was suspended for 5 years on the condition that he doesn’t commit a similar offence again.

Unfortunately for Ncube, the courts didn’t seem to have considered the emotional abuse or trauma he might have gone through upon seeing his wife in that condition with another man.

Perhaps he can be able to acquire damages from his neighbour such as in the case of a disgruntled Harare husband who took his wife’s lover to court and demanded damages of up to $4.5 million.

In the case of a Headlands man, he might have found his wife’s cheating as a very lucrative opportunity. His wife of 27 years Chipo Musonza, was said to be in a relationship with their neighbour.

The neighbour, Tineyi Tapfumaneyi was confronted by the husband, Murambiwa Murangariri, and he admitted to the adulterous relationship. Tapfumaneyi paid two beasts, as per traditional court ruling, to the husband but is said to have continued the relationship.

When the relationship was continued, Musonza, who already has 4 children with her husband, fell pregnant. It is said that the pregnancy belongs to the neighbour, Tapfumaneyi.

Murangariri too the matters to the courts once again, stating that he had been distressed by Tapfumaneyi’s action and asking to be compensated $3 million for the upkeep of a child that wasn’t his and an additional $1 million for shock, distress and degradation, and $500 000 for general damages.

Now these stories are definitely right up Tinashe Mugabe’s alley as he is even said to have broken some marriages by revealing that the alleged father is not the biological father of a child in several marriages.

On Sunday 18 July 2021, Ms Kerry Murimbika was on her way to look for manure. She was attacked close to the town’s sewage ponds. The buffalo gored her left thigh and its horns came out on the other side of the thigh.

ZimParks spokesperson Mr Tinashe Farawo described the attack as unfortunate and a direct result of growing wildlife populations in the area. According to Farawo, this isn’t the first time such an incident has occurred.

The H-metro reported that this woman is suspected to have possibly been cheating as she had left her matrimonial home under unclear circumstances.

This is not the first animal attack that was recently reported. In another case, a local married man was bitten by a snake whilst cheating with another man’s wife.

The Mberengwa man, Edmore Marongwe had sneaked out of his home to meet his married girlfriend, Chiedza Mazvimbakupa. The two met at their makeshift mat made of tree branches and leaves. They had no idea that this time a venomous snake was resting under it. It revealed itself during the time the couple were engaged in the adulterous act.

Marongwe missed death by a whisker as he survived the bite on his leg. As he fled the scene, he was spotted by passerbys who rushed to help and realised that Marongwe was dressed in just an underwear.

News got to Marongwe’s husband who reported the affair to the village Chief Chingoma and demanded six head of cattle as compensation.

In another cheating case, a local woman who was suspected to be cheating was gored by a buffalo.
