The gospel artist was trending after a girl who was enjoying a sweet cuddly moment with her boyfriend completely snapped out of it and started screaming for Mudiwa. The video went viral and got people talking and trying to understand why girls in relationships and married women obsess over Mudiwa.

The speculations were vast. Some said it was because of his money and therefore he could get anyone he wanted. Others suggested that it could also have something to do with his “kindness” towards woman and others.

The controversial  Shadaya who Snopp Dogg endorsed, even had something to say about it. He downright stated:

“Most married women don’t love their husbands Most men in serious relationships, their girls aren’t. Because when women reach “maturity” they choose provision over attraction.”

Of all that’s been said, not many came close to what Mudiwa Hood himself had in mind. After a twitter user was lamenting over Zimbabwe not having a man as great as Michael B Jordan. Mudiwa made sure to make people know that he was Zimbabwe’s version of the Hollywood Star. Yes, that same Michael B Jordan that was voted Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine.

Being the kind-hearted philanthropist he has proved himself to be by his works, we expected that he would react in that same kind manner. Apparently that might have been a tall order for the Gospel Hip hop star.

A triggered Mudiwa is said to have gone to the infamous Shadaya and asked him to troll Misred. Why, Shadaya? Well, Shadaya’s controversial tweets would make him well suited for the job. However, Shadaya, who now seems to have grown a soft spot as we saw in the way he defended his queen didn’t act accordingly. Maybe he just doesn’t want be told to express views that are no this own.

He recently took it upon himself to give out shoes and clothes to strangers in town. Social media showered the musician with praises because of the kind act. Many socialites were moved to state that this act taught them a lesson in kindness. Mudiwa’s message is accompanying by a very fitting hashtag, #DOGOODFORNOREASON.

The act even inspired others to step into their closets and donate warm clothing to less privileged ones. For instance, a Hwange man tweeted that he had been moved by Mudiwa’s kindness to donate to recently released prisoners.

Now the reason why this particular act was carried out is quiet touching. As winter approaches, some cannot afford to buy warm clothing to protect themselves from the cold. In one of the pictures you can see a man wearing slippers in this cold weather. Mudiwa Hood was kind enough to give him a pair of closed shoes that you can see him holding in the picture below:

Yesterday he sent one of his followers RTGS 3000 and the proof for this has been circulating like hot cakes on social media. The 24 year old birthday man who follows Mudiwa Hood on twitter commented on a tweet by Mudiwa Hood on the day of his birthday. To vaguely quote Mudiwa, this “qualified” him to get the money. Mudiwa said he was giving the money to the man because he was a follower and liked and retweeted his content.

Hold on a minute! Do philanthropists only give to those that have also done something for them? Or do they just give to those in need without expecting anything in return. This seemingly transactional relationship might just sound like a strategy to entice more people to follow him and interact with his content which the Twitter algorithm absolutely loves. Not forgetting that Mudiwa Hood is infact a brand and can benefit immensely in the long run from having a lot more people interact with his content.

Don’t get us wrong, we’re just exploring both sides of the coin. Yes, he might be a philanthropist, but might it be for the wrong reasons or could it be that his approach to philanthropy is not in line with his good intentions?
