]]>A school called Hoerskool Witterburg has a non-backpack day in which students are allowed to use anything other than a school backpack. It’s fascinating what some of the students chose as their “bags” for the day.

People in the education system can learn a lot form this simple activity/exercise. Such activities help students think out of the box. Sometimes it’s not so much about what you teach but how you teach it. There are many ways to convey information and the limitations are determined by our mindsets. This shows that school can also be a fun and exciting place.

Activities like these that challenge students to think differently can make school an exciting place to be at little to no cost.
