]]> Surface Wilmar the manufacturers of Pure Drop cooking oil have distanced themselves from cooking oil price hikes in a statement released. Their recommended retail price for cooking oil remains at $3.70.

The Surface Wilmar factory have enough stocks to meet the national demand,  Pure Drop has put the blame on individuals and companies bent on profiteering.

Read their full statement below;

Retailers have over the past week hiked price of cooking oil to as high a $15 yet manufacturers are still producing at lower that’s $4. The justifications for retailers to charge exorbitant amounts is not justified.
