The infamous Jestina Mukoko has been put through a lot in Zimbabwe. Her crime? Fighting for human rights!
Mukoko is the founder of the Zimbabwe Peace Project. Her activist efforts have gained her international recognition. She was also rightfully included of the list of the most influential women in business.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t been a smooth sailing path for her. One of the challenges she faced was the abduction in 2008.
