On Friday 7 May 2021 a Zimbabwean Born queen won a UK council election. The female whose name is Nicole Nkazimulo Moyo is currently in the UK pursuing a political career.
This win has left Moyo in the role of councillor for Peterborough’s Hargate and Hempsted ward. She was competing against three other candidates namely, Samantha Godley (Green Party) , Timothy Kujiyat (Labour), and Kevin Tighe (Liberal Democrats). Nicole Moyo is of the Conservative Party.
This Zim-born UK politician polled 664 votes while her counterparts had 316 votes Kevin Tighe (Liberal Democrats) , Timothy Kujiyat (Labour) – 311 votes, and Samantha Godley (Green) – 113 votes.

Speaking of voting, back home the amendment bill that seems to give President Mnangagwa more powers successfully sailed through with the majority having voted for it.
