After previously stating that Zimbabwe will not need the West and could develop amidst sanctions, President Mnangagwa is now en route to fix things with the UK.
Exiled businessman, Paul Westwood took to his social media to share his hopes on the impending visit to the UK by Mnangagwa. Paul Westwood is said to have suffered the injustices from the Zimbabwean government. He claimed that Hon Temba Mliswa declared ownership of his million pound business investment in 2009 and he never received compensation. Such injustices soured relations between Zimbabwe and the west.
Measures are being to taken to mend those damages. Some of these measures include compensation to white farmers. As you can imagine, black Zimbabweans have frowned upon this measure.
Paul Westwood expressed that he hopes this visit to the UK will result in talks to settle the losses he and others faced.
