Many people defended the suspects in the comment saying that the supplements and pills do not harm users and that the police should focus on solving bigger crimes.
Performance enhancement pills, creams and supplements are popular all over the world. Even in movies, characters make jest of situations where people try them and they overperform. People buy these medicines and supplements from dodgy online stores, or street corners with hopes of boosting various aspects of their intimate lives.
Many of these pills and supplements are smuggled into Zimbabwe and people sell them promising the users bigger genitalia or increased stamina. The fact that the drugs and supplements are not registered means that they are probably not tested and their safety is not guaranteed thus the need for regulation and in this case, arrest.

]]>The ZRP is currently in search of a handful of drivers who probably weren’t aware that they were being watched as they went through a red traffic light. For those who didn’t read the highway code, now you’ll learn the hard way.
View the list of offenders below:
Some people have indicated that the ZRP is finally headed in the right direction.
Another recent directive by the ZRP was that people will no longer be allowed to fight in the centre of roads.
No doubt the law enforcement team is not taking their job lightly. Rovai basa vakomana!

]]>The current economic conditions have propelled people to have other projects that they embark on outside of their formal employment. Civil servants are at the forefront of this trend as they have previously been back and forth with the government on insufficient salaries. We covered the issue of these squabbles here. In order to supplement their income many have turned to chicken rearing.
Now it seems like chicken rearing is no longer an option for Midlands police. According to NewZimbabwe, these police officers have been asked to reduce the number of chickens they rear to 10 per family. The memo by police commanders conveying this message stated that there has been a spike in the water bill as a result of chicken rearing.
Vegetables gardens have also been limited to just one per family as they have also contributed to the high water bills.
Some civilians are looking disapprovingly at this move as they are concerned that since police won’t be able to supplement their income using honourable means, corruption will skyrocket.

]]>The post UPDATE: ZRP reveals shocking information on the touts in the viral video appeared first on Provoker Magazine.
]]>The names and ages of the touts were revealed and perhaps you’ll also realize why this information is a serious cause for concern. The ZRP post read :
“The ZRP announces the names of the four suspects (touts) involved in a case of manhandling and harassment of an elderly woman in Dulibadzimu, Beitbridge as Maxwell Kamuda (42), Lazarus Chingova (44), Michael Mlambo (35) and Worry Muranda (40). More information to follow”
The behaviour that was displayed in the viral video was naturally more expected of younger touts. However, the fact that these are older man, who are also probably men with wives and children, was appalling. People were quick to think of the kind of example these men are setting for the younger ones. If older men showcase such behaviour, what are we to expect of the younger generations? How are the younger ones to be controlled if this is the example being set for them by older generations.

They also expressed their deep gratitude to the cooperation of Zimbabweans and their concern over the misconduct displayed by the touts.
2/2 The ZRP applauds all Zimbabweans for the co-operation & concern over the conduct of the touts. The public is urged to report all incidents of harassment by touts taking note of the location, date, time & the name of the bus company involved. #notouting& harassment of women.

Generally, citizens expressed their thanks for the action taken by the police. However, some were quick to point out that action seems to have been taken just because the harassment was captured on video. They relayed incidences were similar occurrences took place right in the presence of policemen who took absolutely no action. They summed some the police to be victims of the court of public opinion.
