More demolitions of houses underway. At no notice! (pictures inside)

Recently in Mbare, some demolitions took place. This seemed to be mostly targeted at the makeshift building infrastructure in Mbare. The effects were devastating and even lead to thieves issuing a public warning to citizens.

However, that wasn’t the end of it. Today the 25th of June 2021 more surprise demolitions took place. It is said that upto 1000 stands and homes in Melfort, Marondera Municipality are up for demolition. All this is said to have been done without warning.

No doubt, the owners of these homes are distraught.
