The post Bulawayo landlord mercilessly stabbed in the buttocks appeared first on Provoker Magazine.
]]>After 3 am on Tuesday 6 September in a suburb in Bulawayo, the man of the house was stabbed in his rear end. This ordeal followed after 3 men had broken into his Cawdray Park suburb. After taking the man down by stabbing him in his buttocks, the thieves continued to get away with cash amounting to US$250, a stove and a gas cylinder.
The man of the house is said to have been fast asleep when the thieves entered and surrounded him. They were armed with a knife, axe and iron rod. While hurriedly trying to put on his trousers, the man was slapped by one of the thieves and stabbed in the bum by another. He is said to have been told to hand over all his money if he didn’t want to die.
The Bulawayo Police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident and stated that the robbers are still on the run. He went on to appeal for any information from the public that will lead to the arrest of these robbers.
Robbery crimes such as these are on the rise in the country. One of the most recent was a daylight robbery that happened to the hip hop artist Holy Ten’s ex girlfriend Yahya Goodvibes.

Others have openly stated that they will be returning to their previous careers. A man was recorded warning people that thieves will now be returning full force since their source of livelihood has been stripped.

]]>The 14 year old boy broke into the armoury at the police station and managed to get away with 2 pistols. In addition, he stole several mobile phones, bank cards and identification cards.
Although there were policemen present at the station, none of them detected the boy and he managed to leave with the stolen items.
The juvenile was caught when he tried to carry out an armed robbery with the stolen pistol. This took place later that day when the 14 year old broke into Gugulethu Mpofu’s home just as she was retiring to bed.
It was Mpofu who realised that the boy was holding the pistol incorrectly which lead her to retrieve it from him.She followed up with a police report. The boy the appeared before Gweru’s Magistrate facing charges of theft and armed robbery.
Now you’re probably wondering what would lead a 14 year old boy into crime.
The boy defended himself saying that he resorted to crime as his employer was not paying him. After not receiving his pay, he stole a bike and and left Lower Gwelo for Gweru. After dumping the bike, he claims he was forced to steal in order to raise bus fare to go back home.
The boy was remanded in custody.
For some reason, crime is at an all time high these days. We recently shared the new strategy Masvingo thieves were using to have their victims surrender everything out of fear.

]]>Anne Matseketu, the 62 year old grandmother in question, is being charged for selling stands on a dumpsite area. The victim, Brand Chaipa, was looking to buy the $20 000 stand Matseketu had claimed she had.
The fraudulent activity has been brewing since 2015 when gogo Matseketu is said to have mislead her church member Chaipa to believe that she owned stand number 7023 in Westlea, behind the National Sports Stadium. Upon being shown the maps of the area Chaipa paid US$1020 to gogo Matseketu. Thereafter Matseketu handed him a receipt under the name Amazing Housing Cooperative.
The next payment was made a couple of months later in 2015. Chaipa handed gogo Matseketu US$1000.This time, no receipt was issued. He was given the go ahead to start building on the area. A year later when he was about to begin his development of the stand, he was approached by the council and informed that that was not a residential area.
It came to the victim’s attention that Gogo Matseketu was being sought after by EMA as she had been in the business of selling the dumpsite area stands under the pretext that she owned the land.
Gogo Matseketu’s will appear in court on June 17 2021.
Cases of such crimes have been on the rise following the hike of economic challenges. One such crime that we shared involved Grace Mugabe’s son. You can read about that here.

]]>The post Pics: Masvingo thieves using new stealing method! You’ll immediately hand them everything appeared first on Provoker Magazine.
]]>The method is surprisingly not rocket science. Thieves are simply changing their attire to be something that instantly frightens and confuses their victims. The idea behind it is that by the time you recognise what’s happening, you would have already handed over all your valuables out of fear. The attires also allow the robber to complete the robbery unrecognised.
View the images of the new robbery attires below:

You would think its Halloween already with these attires. Apparently Zimbabweans thought it was funny and shared comments such as “Ko kuzofitwa?”
Thefts have been on the rise in the country. Some people have associated this rise with economic hardships within the country. One of the most unexpected robberies we’ve shared is in this article.
